The ammonia solution (NH3) of 25% means 25 gr NH3 in 100 ml water. The molecular weight of NH3 is 17 g (N=14 plus 3H=3). If you have 17 g NH3 in 1000 ml H2O, you have a 1M NH3. If you have 17 g NH3 in 100 ml H2O, you will have 10M NH3. Hence,17g/100ml=10M so 25g/100ml=14.7M
Thus you can easyily dilute marketed 25% ammonium solution (approx. 14.7M) to 10M with water.
