请教各位朋友,6.3.2.7nitrogen ID and Purity中的ID是什么意思?
原文如下:
6.3.2.7 Nitrogen ID and Purity
Nitrogen may be used as an overlay for oxygen sensitive or moisture senstive pharmaceutical products. Nitroger should comply with pharmacopeia requirements for purity. Contaminants that have monograph limits include oxygen, water, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and argon. The purity should be established for nitrogen gas based on percentage of the total gases in the sample. Additionally, the ID as nitrogen should be verified, this may be through the use of the supplier Certificate of Analysis (CoA), as appropriate. Where the process gas is used for safety purposes, nitrogen containing up to 1% oxygen is considered acceptable. On site generation using pressure swing systems may be more economic than other sources.
Monitoring and testing may be accomplished using online testing equipment or by collecting samples under pressure in specially designed sample cylindens for offine analysis. Where monograph limits are not required, a risk assessment may be used to determine appropriate testing and limits
Gas Chromatography
Gas chromatography coupled with Thermal Conductivity Detection (TCD) may be used to determine ID, total purity carbon monoxide concentration, and carbon dioxide concentration.
