ICH Q7  20.Glossary 中对批号的解释为：“Batch Number (or Lot Number) A unique combination of numbers, letters,and/or symbols that identifies a batch (or lot) and from which the production and distribution history can be determined.
批号 用于标识一批的一个数字、字母和/或符号的唯一组合，从中可确定生产和销售的历史”，而2010版GMP规定为：“用于识别一个特定批的具有唯一性的数字和（或）字母的组合；”，两者对比是不是可以说，ICH中要求批号必须含有数字和字母？

两个角度看：
1. 英文上用的是and/or, 连接 numbers, letters, and/or symbols，表示三者中的任意单一元素（or）或多元素的组合（and）。numbers和letters之间的“，”是连接的意思，不具有“and”这个含义。
2. 无论是从ICH还是中国GMP，对批号的要求是：1）用于“特定批”的识别追溯，2）具有“唯一性”。不用字母，你的批号就不能达到这两个要求吗？
