In the past 40 years since China began its reform and opening up, accompanied by rapid economic development, the level of people's living standards and lifestyles have also undergone significant changes. Specific examples of unhealthy lifestyles include a diet high in calories and salt, a shift towards car travel, the prevalence of smoking and drinking, an accelerated work pace, and increased stress. These changes have contributed to the widespread prevalence of chronic diseases such as metabolic cardiovascular disease and cancer and more. Clinical research has shown that unhealthy lifestyles are the main cause of chronic diseases, which are therefore generally referred to as "lifestyle diseases." In recent decades, the field of health checkups and health management in China has made great strides, and it is necessary to learn from the international development of evidence-based lifestyle medicine and use lifestyle health management as one of the best ways to put health management into practice in China, further deepening the professional development of health management in the country.
