请教一个关于信噪比的问题？

请教一个关于信噪比的问题？可能比较初级，我对具体操作不熟，大家不要见笑
无论是USP、ICH、GMP指南都描述信噪比是低浓度样品与空白进行对照得出信噪比，
而今天在看QC操作时发现，我们使用的软件自带的S/N计算，实际也就是在低浓度样品的检测图中选择一段较平稳段作为噪音进行对比，我总感觉这种方式有疑问？两个问题：
1、这种在一个低浓度样品图中计算信噪比的方式，未来面临FDA官方检查时是否能够认可？
2、关于waters empower2 软件中只有EP s/n，据我所知USP s/n与EP s/n稍有区别，那么在该软件中具体该如何设置才能够满足USP关于s/n的要求？或者计算的s/n符合要求，谢谢
请有经验的大侠指导一二，可能问题比较低级，勿见笑！感谢

这里面有个问题，就是选择噪音时，选择不同时间段则信噪比结果不同，那么在合规的情况下，具体该如何选择噪音时间（时段），非常感谢
